Parched Ground only deals damage instead of losing life. (Doesn't reduce maximum life)

It's life loss not damage, though the max life is not reduced (it is not modified by damage modification effects or resistance / reduction effects).

I wasn't aware that life loss should reduce the amount of max life as well. Let's discuss this on sunday.
